Prolouge, The Night of a Lifetime Begins

It had been a week since the invitation had arrived, Sarah paced nervously. She was wearing the same exquisite gown she had worn the night Toby had been taken and she was given the 'peach'. She jumped as she heard a knock on her door.

She chuckled softly and shook her head /I really need to calm down, I wasn't this jumpy the first time!/ she though as she went to  open the door, she was awstruck as she looked at her usually tomboy-ish best friend clad in a beautiful red gown..."Dang, Holy cow Vi...You look amazing!" She said, Vira smiled softly "Thanks Sarah you look great to. You ready to go?" She asked, Sarah nodded with a soft nervous sigh "As ready as I'll ever be" she said..Vira put a gentle hand to her friends shoulder "Sarah, relax..You've got me this time" She said..Sarah nodded, smiling lightly "Your right, it'll be fine...I have you by my side" She said taking her best friends hand and after picking up the invitation they go through her door, instantly there transported to the entrance to the labyrinth..Sarah blinked "So..wait we have to..." She started only to hear a light laugh from behind them, a small goblin standing by a Cinderella esque carriage "No, you don't have to go through it again..I'm here to bring you to the ball" He said..Sarah nodded, relieved...Vira chuckled at the look on Sarah's face as they stepped into the carriage..Neither of them knowing just what to expect with this ball..Or Jareth
